The Litchfield Police Department is accepting applicaitons for full time Patrol Officer positions. The Town of Litchfield offers a competivitve starting salary ranging from $48,880.00 to $68,307.00 with an excellent benefits package including health, disablity, dental coverage and state retirement. The Local Police Union members also receive a match for participating in a 457 deferred compenstation plan.
Applicatants will undergo a written test, physical agility test, oral board, psychological exam, and an extensive background investigation to include a polygraph examination. Applications can be downloaded below or picked up at 2 Liberty Way, Litchifeld, NH.
The following are instructions to apply with the Litchfield Police Department:
You will need to download the application, physical fitness requirements and testing process details. Also, you will need to submit a personal check or money order payable to the "Town of Litchfield" in the amount of $35.00 with your applicaiton by May 12, 2017. If these items are not received by the deadline, you will not be eligible to test for the positions.
The testing date will be June 3, 2017 at 9:00am at Campbell High School, 1 Highlander Court, Litchfield, NH 03052. This will start with a written test (NH Certified Officers are EXEMPT) and physical agility testing will follow for those scoring a 70 or above. The clothing of the day will be PT gear (shorts, t-shirts, running shoes).
